About Nicky Johnston

Nicky Johnston and children’s books “Go Away, Mr Worrythoughts!” and “Happythoughts are Everywhere…”

My name is Nicky Johnston. I am a mum of four gorgeous boys, a primary teacher, public speaker, artist, make-up artist and also the author and illustrator of two best-selling children’s books “Go Away, Mr Worrythoughts!” and “Happythoughts are Everywhere…

I am passionate about raising awareness of mental health issues in children, and believe that if we can teach and equip young children with skills and strategies their resilience and emotional well-being will develop and help them deal with all situations that life will bring with it.

Welcome to my “Happy Hero” blog, I hope to provide you with insight, information and resources to help all little worriers find happiness
